Prenatal yoga increases the flexibility and endurance of the muscles needed for childbirth, besides training me to breathe in this chaotic, ever-changing, and physically stressful time.
For me, instead of the million fear-based instructions that one receives during pregnancy, my one hour of yoga makes me feel capable, confident, and sure in my body's own ability to nurture and heal post delivery too.
Tanvi, my yoga teacher, and Tangerine, together are nothing less than a touchstone for me. They both signify something divine and magical. Their touch can transform anything into gold. Years back, when I first interacted with the studio, I was besieged by various worries and frustrations. I found myself metamorphosed into a new being with a healthy mind and an agile body, and this gave shape to my scattered ideas.
Tanvi is not just a teacher for me, she is a friend, a constant source of energy and inspiration. Her profound warmth and unconditional love have both kindled a light inside me, both spiritual and transcendental.
Big journeys begin with small steps. Besides yoga improving my strength, balance, and flexibility, Tangerine is a happy place with positive vibes and energy, which is why I always want to come back for more.
